Today the Christmas Market in Edsvik Art Center took place.
It was fantastic to see that many people interesting in my leather scupltures. Everyone had to touch them as they thought they were made of clay, and were suprised by how light they were.
And most amazing was that all people, young and old, were in some way touched by them. They knew ecactly what they associated them with, but they had very deviating opinions.
"so peaceful...", "thoughtful" and som thougt they were "scaring".
The children knew exactly what they looked like; Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars and ghosts... not at all peaceful impressions!
Thanks all participants for your valuable thoughts. I'm so happy that you appreciated my sculptures and have just decided that I will have an exhibition next summer showing more of my small leather ladies!
New years eve at Joesfinehill. Today we celebrated the first new years ending at Josefinehill. It's very dark outside but indoors we have lit candles and drink gluhwein. Soon there will be spring and the ceiling will be finalized so that we can paint here even when it's winter.
