Kerstin

My name is Kerstin Melin.
I live in Spånga near Stockholm in Sweden.
Together with Sara Azzam I have started Josephinehill Art Gallery.

I think I have always played with colours, patterns and forms. But since 1998 I have taking art classes  in different techniques. At first I was addicted to water colours and after a couple of years I changed to oil on canvas, charcoal and the last year I've worked a lot in oil pastel.

I also spend a lot of time behind my camera, photographing everything I see, especially in nature.

Some years ago I made small sculptures in leather and this year I took up the work again, with great success.
